Jonah: The Missionary Heart of God

Jonah was a prophet called by God to deliver a message to a city in desperate need. This series explores God’s passion for the nations and His desire to reach people far from Him. It examines how God places His people strategically, calls us to participate in His mission, and pursues us even when we resist. Through Jonah’s journey, we learn that God’s mission often leads us beyond our comfort, and the safest and most meaningful place is at the center of His will.

Session 1

When God's Will and Our Will Collide

Every family and relationship carries hidden pressures beneath the surface. Like cracks in the earth, small compromises in our spiritual lives can grow into dangerous fault lines if left unaddressed. In Nehemiah 13, we see how what seemed like minor issues actually threatened their covenant with God and the next generation’s faith. This lesson will help us identify subtle fractures in our relationships, understand why no one is exempt, and learn how to build true strength in Christ.
